I bought MP 287. after printing some pages it start showing low colour ink and then i refill it once.Then now also it is showing same status and print - It is printing very light different colour line are appearing on it.Is there any solution without buying a new cartridges? Drill a hole in three locations on face of cartridge which represent each color location, magenta in the top hole,cyan in the left bottom hole, and yellow in the right bottom hole. the cyan and yellow hole are adjacent from each other.

Search for your cartridge number and google reset cartridge in canon printers. You will get an appropriate responce.

I replaced my Canon CL511 with a Wilkinsons remanufactured CL511 but my printer says there is no coloured ink there. How do I get my Canon MP495 to recognise the new ink?

Try to check the printer setting if it is off or else you cartridge is not placed properly.
