On PC click start. Programs, then your printer and then Printer Monitor A monitor window will open. click on the Canon icon. This takes you to the printer info menu. Click start status monito from the printer info menu. The start stus will appear. Click the ink information tab. The levels can be viewed there.

If the person wants to change the print color to work with his canon printer ,the person should go through the specification booklet which the person receives with the canon printer ,when he buys .Read and follow the instructions to get in the color to work.

I don`t have an answer to the color light blinking. Rebooted but to no avail. Reset didn`t help out either. Still saying ink level is low. Used canon replacement ink. But does print in color and black. Any other suggestions for trouble shooting?

Try removing and reinstalling the printer, worked for me.
